Sorted my problems
I had some very old programmes, together with data, which I needed to transfer from my old desktop PC running XP to a new laptop running Windows 7.
Barrie came round and, rather than spend lots of time and money, solved my problems by installing newer, better software which was free and which I am very happy with.
I plan on using Barrie again for some one-to-one tutoring, and to assist in purchasing hardware.
Great service and I will certainly recommend him to my friends!!

Barrie got me up and running again
Lost everything on my laptop and couldn't boot up at all. Barrie rebuilt the laptop and made sure everything was fully up to data. Back up and running again!

Friendly and helpful
I was having problems creating labels in Word using addresses that I had in my spreadsheet. Barrie sorted the problem and gave me a document with clear simple instructions on how to create labels in future. All is now working great.
I was also using Picasa to manage my pictures but I was a little confused. Barrie sat down with me and explained clearly how Picasa worked and helped me figure out how to file my pictures better. Again, he gave me clear instructions to follow.
Lastly, after recently losing some pictures that I just cannot get back, I wanted an easy way of backing up all my files. Barrie provided me with a lovely backup solution at a great price that means I will never lose files again.
Any general questions I had, he answered clearly.
I will be using Barrie again, and highly recommend him.

Daughters PC all sorted
Barrie secured and tidied up our daughters laptop. Also made sure all the programs were up to date. She's noticed the computer is much faster.

Computer much faster and up to date
Was getting loads of messages about installing updates which were just confusing.
Barrie sorted it all out and my computer now has the latest everything.
He also did some fine tuning.
Now running much better!

Our computer was getting slow, and lots of pop up messages were starting to appear. We did what we could, but there were niggly things still happening.
We contacted Barrie and agreed to have our machine looked at to try and speed it up and make it more secure.
He made sure all our main programs were up to date. He also did his fine-tuning and sorted out loads of stuff on the disk.
The machine is behaving much better now and is faster to use.
Barrie explained everything he did in a way that made sense to us, and left us with an Info Pack that we refer to whenever we need to check on anything.
We've had to phone him with a few queries since he did the work, and having this facility available is great!

Computer much improved
Computer had been getting slower and slower and loads of error messages.
Barrie brought Windows up to date with Service Packs, and updated the main programs.
He told us what we needed to do on a regular basis.

Great web hosting service
I had a contract with a web hosting company, but it was costing me far too much.
I discussed this with Barrie and he has now provided me with web space, moved my domain name across, and has more than halved my monthly costs.
He also helped me set up and design my own web site, and showed me how to manage my domain using the graphical tools.
I've created loads of new email accounts and sub domains.
All now working great.

Thanks for a great solution
I had thousands of music tracks on my PC upstairs, but my music centre was downstairs!
It was such a pain having to cut to CD.. Barrie fixed the problem.
He installed and configured a wireless music player which connected to my music centre and accessed my music files wirelessly from my hard disk.
Music downstairs at last !
