Maths Tutoring in Sussex

Maths teaches your brain how to think...

Being tutored in advance in maths topics enables students to understand concepts more easily in lessons, therefore feel more confident, and then start to** see maths as FUN**. All my sessions are remote, using Zoom, and I've noticed that this is extremely effective and also lessens any stress students might feel - all you'll need is a computer or tablet.

A little about me... My background is in both primary teaching, and computing. I taught for 10 years and then pursued a career in computing for 20 years, specialising in operating systems, networks and mail systems. I then returned to the classroom over 10 years ago, bringing with me a wealth of experience in both teaching and computing.

I am currently

• a primary teacher specialising in computing and maths, through all age ranges.
• a private tutor, having delivered over 10,000 sessions (that number amazes me sometimes!), and now offering remote tutoring via Zoom, which has proved very effective. I tutor students from age 7 up to 16, specialising in GCSE maths, both foundation and higher.
• a creator and publisher of lessons covering the entire curriculum but especially all things maths and computer related
